The CAJALTA Awarded is granted by the Design Bureau of the National Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC). In its edition of 2014 more than 120 works were put up for the consideration of the jury. Out of these, five were selected, receiving unique prizes.

One of those 5 is Yondainer Gutierrez, who won the award for the design of AlaMesa.
